Shenuk Wijesinghe completed his Primary and Secondary Education at Lyceum International School Wattala and holds a Bachelor of Science with Honours in International Business Management from Staffordshire University London. Shenuk’s passion for singing led him to join Soul Sounds Academy at the age of eight under the guidance of Ms Soundarie David Rodrigo, where he excelled and achieved high scores in the Royal School of Music London Examinations.


Shenuk has earned the prestigious Associate title from the Royal Schools of Music London (ARSM) and has been mentored by Ms Soundarie David Rodrigo and Mr Chi Hoe Mak. In 2021, he received a Diploma in the vocal competition for ages 18 to 20 at the Ninth International JSFest vocal competition in Finland. He also clinched a gold medal and emerged as the category winner in Solo Singing within the Classical music category at the Bali International Choral Festival in 2023.

Additionally, Shenuk was honored with the Arts and Culture (Music) Award at the Fourth New Generation Awards held by Women in Management (WIM) and the National Youth Service Council Sri Lanka. He also participated in the Malaysian Coral Eisteddfod as a festival staff member in November 2023.

Shenuk had the privilege of performing before the President of Sri Lanka and the First Lady at the President’s House in 2023. His debut show also featured an esteemed audience, including
the President and First Lady, who attended to witness his performance. He frequently appears as a guest Soloist with Soul Sounds, Sri Lanka’s premier all-female award-winning choir. As a pianist, Shenuk is currently preparing for the Associate Diploma in piano from the London College of Music.


Raised in an artistic environment, Shenuk holds the prestigious Associate title from the Wendy Whatmore Academy of Speech and Drama (AWWA – Teachers Diploma). He was awarded the Best Actor’s Award from Wendy Whatmore Academy in 2022 and is currently preparing for the Associate Diploma from Trinity College London.


Currently, Shenuk serves as a Teacher at the Wendy Whatmore Academy of Speech and Drama and as a Vocal Coach at Soul Sounds Academy. He is also a vocal coach at Musaeus College Colombo, alongside Ms Soundarie David Rodrigo, and directs his own academy in Wattala.
