Shamara’s musical career took off at the age of 5 years when she joined Soul Sounds Academy’s first ever Children’s Choir. This was a milestone in her life where her passion for music and singing was born. The foundation that was laid at Soul Sounds Academy has helped her in exceling in her musical career.
The experience and knowledge she has gained has helped her with the College Choir at Methodist College and that training was instrumental for her to a be a part of the Champion Choir at the Asia Pacific Choir Games in 2017. Before joining the Soul Sounds Academy Choir, she showcased her singing talent at many a events and competitions such as Asia Pacific Choir Games (2017) and World Choir Games (2018) as a member of the Soul Sounds Academy Children’s Choir.
Shamara is a dedicated member of the Soul Sounds Academy’s Vocal Department where she helps young talents of the Soul Sounds Academy Choir to bloom, by imparting her musical and performing arts knowledge. In addition to her role at the Academy she is an Organist at the Methodist Church and is a member of the Choir and the Worship team. Shamara is a qualified AMI Montessori teacher and currently working at an International Montessori. Her musical career thus far is a true testament to her
unwavering commitment and passion for music and performing arts.
