Shivanthi Subramaniam’s musical journey started at very young age at Good Shepherd Convent Kotahena. She was the choir leader of the senior choir and lead the team at the international tour where 100 students from four leading school choirs represented Sri Lanka in Rome in 2012.
Shivanthi is a core member of the Musica Sacra Committee Sri Lanka – formed to revive latin choral music in Sri Lanka under the Leadership of His Eminence Malcolm Cardinal Ranjith.
She is a Vocal Coach at Soul Sounds Academy Sri Lanka where she teaches students from the ages 4 to 18. She is also a member of the award winning All femaleSri Lankan choir – Soul Sounds.
She has also represented her school in Shakespeare Drama Competitions where they became runner-up.
Shivanthi has completed her Associate of Wendy Whatmore Academy Teaching Diploma in Speech and Drama and is a teacher at the Wendy Whatmore Academy Sri Lanka
